In 2020, Intersputnik is holding its annual international seminar NATSATTEL online

Considering the persisting restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, Intersputnik will hold its annual NATSATTEL seminar online using Zoom on November 10, 2020 from 10:00 to 17:00 Moscow time (UTC+3).

Traditionally, the seminar will be devoted to the development of national telecommunications systems in the member-countries of Intersputnik, topical aspects of the global satellite communications market, as well as new technologies and projects in this field.

Intersputnik is inviting interested administrations of the member-countries, operators, suppliers of novel satellite solutions and equipment, experts in satellite telecommunications and technologies, and the media to take part.

Registration will be open on the websites of Intersputnik www.intersputnik.com, the Operations Committee www.intersputnik.online, and the OpenTeleport project www.openteleport.com.

After the seminar, its recorded version will be available to all registered participants. Languages: Russian and English with simultaneous translation. Interested speakers are invited to send their proposals concerning the topics of their 15-minute presentation to the address of Intersputnik’s Regional Projects Development Division at DivRPD@intersputnik.com.


About NATSATTEL

Annual seminar of INTERSPUTNIK “NatSatTel” is dedicated to the development of regional satellite communications systems in the Member-states of Intersputnik and advanced telecommunications technologies.

The seminar scope:
Usually the seminar is divided into three sections to address the following main topics:
  • discussion of the current aspects of the development of satellite telecommunications and technologies in the regional markets of the member-countries, information by domestic regulators and operators on projects in progress;
  • information by international market experts and Intersputnik specialists concerning the ongoing transformation of the satellite technologies market and key trends. Discussion of the adaptation of the strategies of domestic satellite operators to changes taking place in the market;
  • new technologies and equipment review offered by suppliers as well as comprehensive solutions for the expansion of domestic satellite systems and projects.
Attendees:
Officials of government regulatory bodies and representatives of satellite telecommunications operators from the Intersputnik Member-states; Intersputnik specialists; specialists from major research and development centers and other industry-specific companies; satellite communications market experts; satellite equipment and technologies suppliers.

Venue:
